Through the first article the discussion of how new languages and war caused the destruction of man relates to how in the war between Native American tribes and America the dissociation between the different tribes is what ended up bringing their demise due to their inability to band together to defeat a larger force. The second article discusses how the spiritualistic aspect of Native American mythology and culture brings a lot of the different ideas to modern horror stories, with good and evil spirits being the main contribution to modern horror stories.
